The scale of every kind of institution in the world is growing day by day, and their activities are becoming more complex. Parallel to the development of technologies related to data collection, storage, and processing capacities, the importance of basing the decision-making processes at various levels of institutions on the large amounts of collected data is increasingly coming to the forefront. Therefore, the need for experts in data science is rapidly increasing both in the world and in our country.

The Data Science and Analytics undergraduate program aims to equip its students with the skills necessary to discover prominent trends and patterns within data collected from institutions in various sectors, identify relationships, and develop data-driven methods for decision-makers based on these findings. The program aims to produce graduates capable of performing all kinds of data analysis and making analytical inferences from them. With an interdisciplinary approach, it provides competence in subjects such as statistical, mathematical, and economic methods, computer programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. It offers a variety of courses necessary for students to apply these competencies in their areas of interest, ranging from social sciences and management sciences to various engineering applications. Thanks to its interdisciplinary curriculum, the graduates of the Data Science and Analytics program will be able to analyze data from a wide range of domains in an unparalleled way. With these special skills, our students will become experts who will make a difference in the data-driven future world.
